A Year in Review - 2008

January

• Went to Disneyland and discovered it is even more magical with kids!
• Natalie celebrated her 25^th birthday. Yikes!
• Found that K. Jane is a little miss chatter box.

February

• Kennedy took her first steps on the 9^th.
• Jen and Olivia came to visit.
• Natalie discovered that Jane Eyre was the best movie. Ever. And watched it three times in one week.

March

• Kennedy and Momma went to St. George to celebrate Aunt Jacci’s 30^th birthday with her.
• We had the most difficult month of 2008 which included our first trip to the ER.
• March was also one of the best months of 2008 when we discovered on the 25^th that Kennedy would be getting a new brother or sister.

April

• Had our first swim of summer.
• Natalie started to feel the effects of being pregnant.

May

• Went to Idaho for the funeral of sweet Grandma H*.
• Enjoyed Memorial Day weekend with Shawn and Grandma and Grandpa D*.
• Kennedy is finally old enough to go to Nursery but hated it for months.

June

• Natalie had a fun girls weekend in St. George with her best friends from college.
• Natalie also cried her eyes out at Amy’s wedding in Logan.
• Celebrated Rex’s 32^nd birthday and Father’s Day all in the same week.
• Coldplay finally came out with a new album!

July

• Celebrated the 4^th of July small town style in Mt. Pleasant
• Found out that baby was “baby sister” on the 9^th.

August

• Celebrated our 5^th wedding anniversary at the Melting Pot.
• Had our Family Holiday at the pool with pizza.

September

• Natalie had her baby shower with her wonderful friends at Abuelo’s.
• The H*’s went camping for the first time ever but slept in a hotel room.

October

• Finished Kennedy’s big girl room in preparation for Lucy’s arrival.
• Had a mouse living in our room for 10 days until we finally caught him.
• Dressed KJ up as a fairy and experienced Trick-or-Treating for the first time.

November

• Celebrated Kennedy’s 2^nd birthday with her best friends Ryann and Owen.
• Had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with some great friends.
• We were shocked to find that November came and went with no baby.

December

• Welcomed our precious little girl, Lucy Michelle, into our family.
• We were reminded once again how grateful we are for Grandma Glenda!
• Had our first Christmas with our own little family.

It's been a good year!
