Oh, how we love December!
We did so many fun things to count down the days till Christmas.
Here's a mega dump of pictures on how we spent our days in December.
You're Welcome ;)
Driving around looking a christmas lights.
Violet was finally big enough to sit in a forward facing carseat just for the occasion!
Zoolights
Always a hit since the Zoo is one of Lucy's favorite places on earth!
Movie night and a hot chocolate tea party.
Dad was gone one friday night to his work Christmas party.
We find any excuse to have a girls only tea party.
Yes it's true, I even have a Christmas tea set!
A special date with Grandma Glenda.
It is now tradition for her to make a trip down here
for the gingerbread house party at Preschool.
Grandma T came along too and taught me how to make Apple Pie.
We made a dozen pies for neighborhood gifts.
One of the few times he can get away with bossing me in the kitchen!
Discovering Elffie every morning.
Preschoolers beware: If you are naughty for Miss Teddy,
your elf may show up at preschool the next day to keep an eye on you!
After a particularly bad day at school,
Lucy, Kate, and Dylan's elves all showed up the next day.
They straightened right up!
Mommy stressed over Kennedy's classroom winter party.
But that smile make it all worth it!
Eating Dinner by the Christmas tree, per their request.
Taking our pic with the fake Santa because
Lucy was too scared to pose with the real one.
Anticipating the arrival of family for Christmas!
A little picture Kennedy created at school:
It reads, "I hope my Grandma comes over on Christmas"
She also couldn't wait to tease Uncle Shawn.
Grandma and Grandpa D* and Uncle Shawn come for Christmas!
And show up at school to eat lunch with Miss Jane.
We did fun things with them like see the temple lights
Watched a local production of The Nutcracker
(Poor Lucy was sick and was unable to come. So Sad!)
Spent HOURS sitting in Grandpa's lap
because we know he can't resist tickling us!
And hit the zoo one more time on Christmas Eve
to burn off those "Santa is coming" jitters!
Wow. Sorry if you actually endured that.
Christmas is finally here!
