Day 1: Seaworld! If you are going to Seaworld, make sure you have sunny weather. See those dark clouds lurking behind us...yeah they came back to bite us a few hours later right in the middle of the Shamu show.
Another tip, right when you enter the park, head straight for the Manta ride that none of your kids are tall enough to ride. Forget the fact that they are dying to see the sea animals. We are so rad sometimes...
The girls loved Seaworld!
Lucy was especially obsessed with the polar bears.
When she got to pick out a souvenir, she went straight for the baby polar bear.
It didn't leave her side for the rest of the trip!
Here we are waiting to see Shamu.
5 minutes into the show it started pouring buckets!
I dash to the nearest gift shop with Violet in tow. Rex and the girls stuck it out.
After that we decided it was going to be zero fun walking around the park soaking wet in the pouring rain. We headed back to the hotel and let Violet nap while we waited out the storm.
The rest of the afternoon was precious.
The highlight of the day we seeing how excited V got watching these guys.
She sat perched on her Dad's lap the entire show eating popcorn,
clapping her hands and squealing in delight!
This was Kennedy and Lucy's favorite show as well.
Mostly because it had a princess and her prince.
This guys pose kills me!
Seaworld was certainly the highlight of the trip!
Day 2 & Day 3: Legoland.
While we did enjoy the Halloween decor, a busy Legoland is really Lam-o-land!
Between the Halloween hype, UEA weekend, and several schools attending,
Legoland was packed. We had to wait in line for 30-40 minutes for even the smallest rides.
Take this ride for instance:
Wait time 35 minutes. Ride time - 3 minutes.
Super Lame!
Eventually on the 2nd day we gave up on rides and took pictures with all the cool lego characters.

Probably the most fun they had, aside from the Dragon coaster we rode at least 6 times,
was playing in Duplo village for the last 2.5 hours the park was open.
Other highlights from the trip:
The Hotel.
Seriously these girls would have been happy just wondering around the hotel.
When we were packing up Lucy cried because we were going to be living at the hotel anymore.
San Diego Temple.
Rex took the girls over to the temple while Violet was napping.

Looks like such a fun trip. Sea World is awesome. Lego land... is fun, but not the best - right? At least its checked off the list now. I was glad we went but doubt we will ever go again.
I laughed out loud when I saw the picture with the Blue Horizons 'prince'. That guy was so CHEESY lamo. We totally made fun of that pose for the whole day we were there and beyond.
So we really do need to get together one of these days. I have a growing desire to hit IKEA. Maybe a lunch or breakfast date? Or we would love to have you guys up for dinner. I'll consult with Cori and our calendar and text ya!
