Quiet Afternoon

Rain storms are a rare treat in AZ.

So when the clouds came rolling in and the thunder started today,

all afternoon play and chatter stopped so we could gaze out the window and listen.

I taught the girls a song I remember from Kindergarden,

It goes, "Pitter patter pitter pat, hear the rain drops come falling one by one."

We sang it at least 10 times.

Then Lucy requested a song about Thunder.

An excuse to jam out to AC/DC? Why Lucy, I thought you would never ask!

So I introduced them to Thuderstruck. 

They weren't so sure about that one.
