Christmas Eve

To kick off our Christmas celebration, we took the girls to see "The Muppets"
They thought it was so-so. I guess you had to be a fan of The Muppets to really get it.
Kennedy ended up in the hall throwing a temper tantrum for good part of the movie,
while Lucy whined for her Dad who was out in the hall with the naughty child. Awesome.
Violet, which was the child we were worried about taking to the movie, slept the entire time.
We were quickly reminded that there is a very good reason why we don't take them to the theater.

After the movie, we headed back home to prep for Santa's arrival.
Momma is all about good food so she spent too much time in the kitchen.
She had some great help and Lynn & Vickie were her clean up crew. It was so nice!

The girls made some cookie's for Santa with help from the grown-ups.

After that it was time to unwrap some presents!
We always give the girls PJ's on Christmas Eve.
And this year, since there is 5 of us now,
we decided the follow the Seely family tradition of picking names.
We opened those presents on christmas eve as well. Which we always did growing up.

Dad picked Mom. Lucky him, he had to come up with yet another present to get me.
Mom picked Lucy. She got a zoo animal Lego set. Which upon opening she yelled repeatedly,
"It's adorable!",  then spinning around with it whacking her dad across the head with the box.
Kennedy picked V, proudly giving her a little seahorse that plays lullby's for her crib.
Lucy picked Dad, giving him a Airhog remote control car.
It's tradition for him to get some kind of Airhog gizmo for Christmas.
And Violet gave Kennedy a marine animal set which both girls ohhhed and ahhhhed over all night.

Then it was off to bed so Santa could come.
Having 5 Santa's is awesome. We had the place set up in no time.
Then a round of Settler's before bed.
