Friday: we colored Easter eggs with the girls. To get ready for the big egg hunt on Saturday, Rex would hide the eggs around the house and Kennedy would run around gathering them up. She loved this game so much that we played it several times throughout the weekend. She had no sense of putting the eggs in the basket nicely. By Sunday morning the eggs were cracked all over but still ok to make the Seely family tradition, Creamed Eggs on Toast.
Saturday: it rained! I was so bummed because we usually go hiking first thing in morning followed by an Easter egg hunt with friends at the park. This year we did a tiny bit hiking (mostly so we could eat the breakfast after) and had the egg hunt indoors. It was still fun but no quite the same. That night we went to a baptism and had delicious mexican food after.
Sunday: our church starts at 1:00, but every Sunday we find ourselves scrambling to get out the door on time. Therefore, I have no pictures of the girls in their matching dresses. We did take some at the temple a couple of weeks ago so I wasn't too worried about it. After church we had a wonderful dinner with our friends that we celebrate every holiday with.
