To kick off the month of December, we got together with the BYU clan and made candy trains. Kennedy was not into the train as much as she was into licking the frosting and eating the candy.
The train didn't last too long...here it is 2 weeks later. Not really sure why we kept eating it, the frosting really ruins the chocolate taste.

I dragged Rex to see the cutest version of the Nutcracker performed by a local ballet company. All the dancers were between the ages of 3 and 18. The little girls were just too irresistible! Rex will never admit it but I think he actually liked it.

We also got to see all the lights around our neighborhood on a hay ride pulled the old fashioned way with horses (or they could have been donkeys...not really sure). Little KJ wore her coat, hat, and gloves for the first time. This is her "you have got to be kidding me" look.
Luckily, to make up for the no snow on Christmas, everyone is trying to keep up with the Jones' when it comes to outside lights. Seriously, one house put the Griswold's to shame. The Picture Really doesn't do it justice...imagine half of those lights flashing. Also, if you look real close you can see Sponge Bob hiding behind one of the palm trees.

What Christmas would not be complete without a visit with Old Saint Nick. She did what we wanted her to...screamed bloody murder for the picture. Classic! I really wanted to show it off to you but unfortunately, our printer/scanner is suffering a long slow death.
Tomorrow were off to the snow to spend Christmas in Utah. We hope you all have a most enjoyable holiday. We promise not to eat too many goodies if you don't! Oh wait, we already have.
